Go to www.hippocampus.org, click on History & Government, then American Government, then scroll down to Legislative Branch, click on Power, Committees, and Debates, click on Start Topic, (do not watch the video), click on Explore: Civil Rights Legislation and the Filibuster, click on View Gallery, and read the essay.

         From the menu on the left, click on Route of a Bill through Congress, click on Start Topic (don’t watch the video), click on Historic Filibusters under the Explore heading, click on View Gallery and read the essay.
